Sarah and Jeffrey exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony at the beautiful Briarwood Golf Club.  The weather was near perfect (Thanks Dale!) even though the forecast was for thunderstorms and rain for the entire day.  We photographed Sarah, Jeffrey and the wedding party in a number of scenic locations on the grounds at Briarwood, before making our way to the Brecksville Reservation area of the Cleveland Metroparks. Back at the reception, still no rain, the evening got underway, complete with some heartfelt toasts, delicious meals and of course dancing.

I would like to thank my good friend and special guest photographer “Dale Kincaid” from “Somewhere In Time” photography, for lending his considerable talents and time for this event. It is a rare privilage and opportunity to be able to work with one of the leading photographers in this profession.

Kara and Nick’s wedding took place at one of my favorite ceremony spots; a turn of the century estate overlooking beautiful Chippewa lake. The Oaks Lakeside was completed in 1914 (known then as Five Oaks)  and became a standard for hospitality and gracious living, along with playing host to the rich and famous of the day.

Kara and Nick’s choice of a 40′s couture theme was great, complete with band members wearing zoot suits.  Kara looked beautiful in her wedding dress and coiffure. We had to dodge a few raindrops for the ceremony, but not long after the ceremony finished, the skies cleared and created a beautiful sunset over the lake.
